Beautiful lobby and pool area

The rooms with the free breakfast, knowledgeable staff on the night shift at the desk. Perfect and excellent location for visiting bars and restaurants.

Nice and absolutely perfect location - so close to Riu plaza, the restaurant which was gratefully received after a long day of travelling from Glasgow, UK and other areas of Miami Beach and other hotels. Really nice facilities and a rich breakfast with meat specials always available, a chocolate fountain and an omelette station.

The room was clean and I found hairs on the sheets.

The room was big and had a nice view of the ocean.

During my solo stay, I found the Riu Plaza a comforting retreat. The beach access provided much-needed serenity, and the breakfast offerings delighted my mornings. I encountered some elevator issues, but overall, the staff remained attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

The location is definitely the highlight of this stay, as it's right by the beach. we had to deal with long wait times for check-in and elevators that were often out of service. The room itself was clean and spacious, but it felt a bit dated. Staff were generally friendly, but poor communication made some interactions frustrating. The lunch at the pool restaurant was a nice surprise and well presented, though breakfast could have been better organized.

Room had AC and a lovely balcony with a partial ocean view. Clean with a minibar and tv. The shower had great water pressure, perfect after a day at the beach. Easy access to beach with comfy sun loungers available. Breakfast was packed with fresh fruits and pancakes, a must-try!

Spotless and huge rooms with balcony! Amazing breakfasts with salads and pizza and meat specials provided by the exceptional staff. Good area, oceanfront location close enough to a Starbucks as well as beach.

Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a spacious corner room with an exceptional ocean view. The room was impeccably clean with a very comfortable king-size bed. Wi-Fi was ultra-fast and I appreciated the ample counter space in the bathroom along with a beautifully tiled shower. The pool and beach areas had plenty of lounge chairs available, even during a busy weekend, and the service was excellent throughout my stay.

The check-in process took longer than expected.

The Riu Plaza offers a fine beachfront location with access to complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, although a purchase is required. The breakfast selection was really good, with freshly baked pastries and a variety of organic juices. The pool area is beautiful, complemented by a fantastic pool bar with delicious food and excellent drinks.
